How many questions are on the DCU Associate Level exam?
There are 75 questions on the DCU Associate Level exam certification.
Can I see my test answers?
No. To maintain the quality and integrity of the certification, exams must remain secure at all times and no questions or answers are ever released under any circumstances.
When will I be notified with my exam results?
Candidates will receive notification in 3-4 weeks following the completion of the exam. A letter will be sent from Thomson Prometric with your results, and if you have passed, A Welcome Kit will be sent to you from Data Center University.
What does it cost to take the DCU Associate Level exam?
The cost of the exam is $295 USD

If I have a disability, can accommodations be made for me so I can take my exam?
It is the policy of APC to make reasonable accommodations for US residents with disabilities. If you need special accommodations‚ contact your testing center 30 days before scheduling your exam and have your disability documentation available
May I register for the exam without taking any corresponding training courses?
Yes, you may register to take the exam directly, but it is highly recommended that you work with the assessment
exam in advance to determine your potential rate of success in the live exam.
Can I retake the exam?
Retesting Policy
In the event that you fail your first (1st) attempt to pass any Exam, Data Center University by APC does not require any waiting period for you second (2nd) attempt to pass the Exam. However, should you require more attempts to pass the exam‚ you will be required to wait for a period of at least fourteen (14) calendar days from the date of your last attempt to pass the exam. In the event that you pass any Data Center University by APC certification examination‚ you shall be required to wait for a period of twelve (12) calendar months before retaking the same examination, unless Data Center University by APC has changed the test objectives for such examination.
What do I need to know about exam day at a Prometric Testing Center?
- What to bring to the testing center: Two forms of identification, including one with a photo such as a valid driver´s license or passport. Both forms must display the candidates signature.
- Arriving at the Test Center: Plan to arrive 15 minutes before the scheduled exam time.
- Reference materials: To maintain a secure test environment, no reference materials are permitted in the testing center. Reference tools such as a calculator are provided for questions as needed.
Is the Data Center University Associate certification vendor-neutral?
Yes, this exam tests based on industry best practices and standards. The exam content is product agnostic
